Michael has 30 years expertise in ESG and sustainability having worked as an Executive Director, Management Consultant and Leadership Coach. Trained as a Mechanical Engineer and with a Doctorate of Business Administration (DBA), he has worked within corporate, consultancy and NGO roles. Michael is multi-cultural, having worked for several years in Southern Africa, UK and MENA region. Michael is Chair of our Advisory Board
Hendrik is Professor of Environmental Economics at The London School of Economics (LSE). He has over 20 years of experience in research in environmental economics, working at the intersection of transportation, air pollution, energy and health. Hendrik is the Founder and Director of a research lab that connects academic researchers, government, and industry in the urban mobility space with the goal to enhance our quality of life through greener mobility. His research has led to important policy changes by the United Nations and the World Bank on the measurement of indices (the Human Development Index (HDI) and the Ease of Doing Business Index).
Nava Ashraf is Professor of Economics at the London School of Economics. She moved to LSE in 2016 after ten years on the faculty at Harvard Business School, and was also the Inaugural Research Director at the Marshall Institute. She is the Founder and Director of the Altruistic Capital Lab in London. Professor Ashraf’s research combines psychology and economics, using both lab and field experiments to test insights from behavioural economics in the context of global development in Africa, Latin America, and Southeast Asia.
is the Founder & Chief Executive Officer of RESPONSIBLE, a technology company focused on reducing the consumption of new fashion products. He is a Venture Partner at Anthemis Group, a VC firm with the mission of cultivating change in the financial sector. He is also the Co-Founder and Chair of Ormeau Labs, a Belfast based technology innovation hub housing over 200 entrepreneurs, and the Chair of Mantis, an AI software company transforming the trucking industry. In 2012 Mark co-founded Trov, the world's first on-demand insurance platform that was later acquired by Travelers Insurance. He previously co-founded ServiceCloud that was acquired by SFDC. He was also the co-founder of BandofCoders and did a management buy out after several years of successfully scaling the company internationally. Mark was the Chair of Techstart Ventures, which invests in entrepreneurs to build successful technology businesses from the ground up in Northern Ireland and Scotland. He was also an LP in Bullet Time Ventures, an early seed investor in Uber and Twilio, and is an advisor to several companies including Modius Health, StageTEN, and LoweConex.

Developed and embedded data-driven capabilities and sound data governance into operational delivery, including expertise in the ethics of Artificial Intelligence for public good, social impact and sustainability.
Following a corporate background in complex business risk management, John has worked closely with Exeter University and National Physical Laboratory to develop a real-time transportation CO2 measurement technology platform for use in carbon market digital Measurement, Reporting and Verification processes. John is responsible for carbon market interactions and risk management exposures for a developing portfolio of renewable energy production sites in Kenya and sub-Saharan Africa.
Shashin is a seasoned technologist with a 40-year track record of transforming visions into digital realities. Proficient in IT systems, data, and analytics, he excels in crafting enterprise-grade solutions for pivotal initiatives. A Fellow of the British Computer Society, Shashin's leadership is known for its focus on business impact, global acclaim, and motivational team building. He is passionate about ESG initiatives and purpose beyond profit.
Mark has navigated the City of London and its insurance sector for 46 years. An active entrepreneur he is regarded as an expert in innovation, transformation, an advisor, mentor and NED. He is currently the Senior Warden of the Company of Entrepreneurs. He serves the boards of a number of social mobility charities.
